Farm Heating customer case
Planning and Installation
The system was installed in 2021 with the intention of providing the bulk of the heat for the buildings on the farm which includes three houses and some farm buildings. It provides a large portion of the heating with the wood-chip burning being used on the colder days.
Solar Thermal Installation
In this installation, solar thermal panels were installed on two different roofs with piping being fed back to the control cabinet in the main farm building.

BTES Installation
The BTES was installed in a field behind the main farm building. The field is used for growing crops, and growth is not impacted by the BTES due to the efficient insulation which prevents losses from above.

Commissioning and Operation
Commissioned in 2021, the installation has been providing heat for the farm, helping to ensure a higher COP for the heat pump.
